1995 Bentley Brooklands featured in ‘The Crown’. Estimate: £12,000 – £15,000
A Bentley with a royal TV provenance, which carried the actors portraying both Charles and a young Prince Harry in the hit TV series The Crown will be auctioned by Classic Car Auctions on June 1st at their Tatton Park Sale in Knutsford, Cheshire.
This 1995 Bentley Brooklands comes resplendent in Peacock Blue and has been meticulously maintained. The Brooklands was introduced in 1992 as a replacement for the Mulsanne and Bentley Eight. It featured the classic Bentley grille as well as dual headlights with wraparound parking lights.

The current owner acquired this wonderful example around three years ago from a renowned specialist in London. It had previously resided in Scotland so it’s appropriate that it was chosen to be the conveyance of ‘The Prince of Wales’ in Series 5 and Series 6 of the Crown (Left Bank Pictures and Sony Pictures for Netflix). The car featured prominently with its cherished plate, which forms part of the sale.
Continuing the theme of feeling like Royalty there are a further four Bentleys and three Rolls-Royces to choose from in this Tatton Park Summer Sale. One might feel more like the Queen gliding around in this 1957 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud S1 which has benefited from a gentle, long-term restoration by its fastidious owner. The Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud was conceived as a replacement for the Rolls-Royce Silver Dawn and is relatively economical and cheaper to maintain than the succeeding V8-engined cars, the Silver Cloud is arguably the most user-friendly of all post-war Rolls-Royce.
